Tropical Storm Devastated Our Region

i was kinda surprised when i woke up yesterday morning and my parents told me that places near the river were flooded in our city

i'm just glad we weren't flooded...

but then i learned that many people died of the flood... some people we know also climbed up to their rooftops

and then i learned that the phenomenon was also experienced in other parts of the country, especially Northern Mindanao...

reports say that around 500+ people died of the disaster

the flash flood caught them off guard... the water started to rise rapidly at midnight

i have relatives who were affected by the flood, good thing the water didn't go too high

lots of people's houses are destroyed now, many people lost most of their belongings; and many people are in evacuation centers, we are going to donate some clothes and other needs to the flood victims

please offer them your sincere prayers, especially this Christmas season. it's sad to think that they're probably going to spend their Christmas this year without a home. ;_;

9 Days to Christmas...

...but it feels kinda lonely T_T

it doesn't really feel like it's nearing Christmas

we didn't even put up decorations in our house

well, except for those we didn't remove from last year lol

mainly because this only started with the pose and then decided later that it should be Miki XDD
Miki's my favorite Vocaloid design-wise btw but that Korean SeeU is coming close
but of course Miku is still my favorite Vocaloid >w<

as you can see, i already got the base colors down

i'm actually further than this already though so expect it soon?

that's if i don't decide to procrastinate again o3o

i love theme parks coz i love rides~

Universal Studios Singapore is no exception!

we had lots of fun there~

too bad it rained a bit during the afternoon though... but still priceless fun

while in Singapore, we attended Anime Festival Asia 2011

it was the first anime convention i ever went to and it was BIG!

we only went there on the last day though (Sunday, Nov. 13)

we ate some sushi for dinner after AFA XD

we found the fountain of wealth... too bad it was raining o3o

aaaand that's it! we had fun that day and got really tired after even though we really didn't do anything.

Singapore 11.12.11

wooo! it was our 1st time going out of our country ever!

me and my brother had a really great time during our stay at Singapore for a few days~

we left Cebu City, Philippines on November 11 and arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore almost 12mn

we actually took lots of pictures there because we stayed overnight XD
